We are hiring Direct Support Professionals for current and future clients  

Starting at $21/hour- increases depending on shift, experience and qualifications

Shifts are :

8a-4p, 4p-10p and 10p-8a

Waldorf or Montessori experience beneficial 

Our ideal candidate will::

• Have a strong desire to create long-term relationship with their client

• Must presume competence and treat client as such

• Understand that this is an active job and you will partake in all activites your client does, not just watch.

• View this position as not just a job but a way of life that is rewarding and fulfilling.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a friend, caregiver and life coach to promote independence.

• Physically assist in all activities of daily living and volunteer opportunities, not just watch.

• General housekeeping tasks and meal preparation.

• Transportation

• Must read and follow goals and instructions put forth in the individuals ISP

• Be willing and responsible to take copious and detailed notes at the completion of their shift

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Must possess a valid driver's license and excellent driving record

• Verifiable High School diploma.

• Must be fluent in the English language

• Experience in a home or school setting working with people who have intellectual and developmental disabilities

• Must have own transportation

• Must be tech savvy enough to use phone/computer to log daily detailed notes and timesheets
